In a surprising partnership that challenges traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the official statement, "A mysterious confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where rumors of prohibited rituals and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret cult.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar tests and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Transformations
The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
